Nurses
…. are qualified personnel. They provide 24-hour availability, with an average working time of 8 hours per day. Care includes housekeeping services (e.g. the preparation of meals, shopping, daily cleaning work, laundry etc.), assistance with regard to the provision of basic care (general body care, help with dressing and undressing, getting up, walking, the serving of meals, bringing patients to the toilet, as well as accompanying patients during visits to the doctor or authorities.
The monitoring of the patient’s regular, independent taking of medication and the administration of oral drugs according to a doctor’s prescription in writing, the treatment with injections, infusions and the taking of blood samples as well as the installation and replacement of catheters. The effects of care services, which take place based on the assignment by a doctor and have an impact on the health of the patient, must be controlled by the doctor at appropriate intervals. The caregivers schedule their work according to the respective requirements and needs in an independent and responsible manner. The principal shall bear the expenses for household supplies as necessary for execution of the contract.
